drive。 These isolation devices combine a high-speed CMOS process with monolithic transformer technology to provide superior performance characteristics over other solutions such as pulse transformer and gate driver combinations.
The ADuM3220/ADuM3221 isolators provide two independent isolation channels. The maximum propagation delay is 60 ns and the channel-to-channel match is 5 ns. Compared to gate drivers using high voltage level shifting, the ADuM3220/ADuM3221 offer true galvanic isolation between the input and outputs, enabling voltage conversion across the isolation barrier. The ADuM3220 has pass-through protection logic, while the ADuM3221 does not. Both devices provide the default low output feature required for gate drive applications. The ADuM3220/ADuM3221 have an input supply voltage range of 3.0 V to 5.5 V, making them compatible with low voltage systems. The output supply voltage range of the ADuM3220A/ADuM3221A is 5 V to 18 V. The DuM3220B/ADuM3221B have an output supply voltage range of 8 V to 18 V.
The ADuM3220/ADuM3221 are specified over the −40°C to +125°C junction temperature range.
