The HCNR200 high linearity analog photocoupler contains a high-performance AlGaAs LED and two highly matched photodiodes. The input photodiode can be used to monitor and stabilize the photometric output of the LED, so the nonlinearity and drift characteristics of the LED are virtually eliminated, the output photodiode will generate a photocurrent that linearly corresponds to the LED light output, and the tight matching between the photodiodes and the advanced package design can ensure high linearity and stable gain of the photocoupler.
HCNR200 can be used to provide analog signal isolation for a wide range of applications that require good stability, linearity, bandwidth, and low cost, HCNR200 is an excellent solution to many analog isolation problems due to its high flexibility and the ability to bring many different modes of operation through proper design of the application circuit, including unipolar/bipolar, AC/DC, and inverting and noninverting
