UCC27524DGN description
The UCC2752x family is a dual, high-speed, low-side gate driver that efficiently drives MOSFETs and insulated gate-type power tubes (IGBTs)Power switch。 Using a design that significantly reduces breakdown current from the inside, the UCC2752x is capable of delivering high peak current pulses up to 5-A source current and 5-A sink current to capacitive loads, and features rail-to-rail drive capability and a very small propagation delay of 13 ns typical. In addition, the driver features two channels matched internal propagation delay, which makes this driver ideal for applications such as synchronous rectifiers where dual gate drives are critical. This also allows the two channels to be connected in parallel to effectively increase current drive capability, or to use a single input signal to drive two switches connected in parallel. The input pin threshold is based on TTL and CMOS-compatible low-voltage logic, which is fixed and independent of VDD supply voltage. The wide hysteresis between high and low thresholds provides excellent noise immunity.
Description
The UCC2752x family offers a combination of three standard logic options – dual inverting, dual non-inverting, one inverting, and one non-inverting. The UCC27526 features a dual-input design that provides flexibility in inverting (IN- pin) and non-inverting (IN+ pin) configurations for each channel. Either the IN+ pin and the IN- pin can be used to control the state of this driver's output. Unused input pins can be used to enable and disable functions. For safety reasons, the UCC2752x family of internal pull-up and pull-down resistors are mounted on the input pins to ensure that the output remains low when the input pins are floating. For better control over the operation of driver applications, the UCC27323, UCC27324, and UCC27325 all feature an enable pin (ENA and ENB). For active-high logic, these pins are internally pulled up to VDD and can be continuously opened for standard operation.
The UCC2752x family of devices is available in SOIC-8(D), MSOP-8, and 3-mm x 3-mm WSON-8 packages with exposed insulated pads (DGNs). The UCC27524 is also available in a PDIP-8(P) package. For the UCC27526, only a 3-mm x 3-mm WSON (DSD) package is available.
