XC9303B093KR High-efficiency, synchronous rectified step-up & buck DC/DC controller ICs
The XC9303 series is a high-efficiency, synchronous rectification, PWM, PWM/PFM selectable step-up/buck DC/DC controller.
A general-purpose, high-efficiency step-up/buck DC/DC converter can be achieved using only basic peripherals: triodes, inductors, diodes, capacitors, and voltage sense resistors. The series achieves high conversion efficiency by using a synchronous rectification topology.
The XC9303 series can be externally switched between PWM control and PWM/PFM auto-switching control via the PWM pin.
In PWM/PFM mode, the XC9303 automatically switches from PWM to PFM at light loads, allowing for high efficiency over the entire load range.
In the PWM mode at a fixed frequency, the output noise can be easily reduced.
The XC9303 series has a 0.9V (±2.0%) internal reference voltage, and the output voltage can be freely set in the range of 2.0V~10.0V using external components.
Due to the switching frequency of up to 300kHz, small peripherals can be used.
The soft-start time is internally set to 10 milliseconds to prevent inrush current and overshoot voltage when the power is turned on.
