XC9303B093KR High efficiency, synchronous rectified step-up and step-down DC/DC controller IC
The XC9303 series are high efficiency, synchronous rectification, PWM, PWM/PFM selectable buck-up/step-down DC/DC controllers.
Using only basic peripheral components: transistors, inductors, diodes, capacitors, and voltage sense resistors enables a general-purpose, high-current output, high-efficiency buck-boost DC/DC converter. This series achieves high conversion efficiency by using synchronous rectification topologies.
The XC9303 family can be switched externally via the PWM pin between PWM control and PWM/PFM auto-switching control.
In PWM/PFM mode, the XC9303 automatically switches from PWM to PFM at light loads, resulting in high efficiency over the entire load range.
In fixed-frequency PWM mode, output noise can be easily reduced.
The XC9303 series has a 0.9V (±2.0%) internal reference voltage, and the output voltage can be freely set in the range of 2.0V~10.0V using external devices.
Due to the high switching frequency of 300kHz, small peripheral devices can be used.
The soft-start time is internally set to 10 milliseconds to prevent inrush current and overshoot voltages when the power is turned on.
