The A1301 and A1302 are continuous, proportional, linear Hall-effect sensor ICs. These sensors have been optimized to provide a voltage output that is precisely proportional to the applied magnetic field. These devices have a quiescent output voltage equal to 50% of the supply voltage. Two output sensitivity options are available: 2.5 mV/G for the A1301 and 1.3 mV/G for the A1302.
Hall-effect ICs in each device include Hall sensing elements, linear amplifiers, and CMOS Class A output structures. Integrating Hall sensing elements and amplifiers on a single chip minimizes many of the problems typically associated with low-voltage level analog signals.
The product has been made to make internal gain and bias correction adjustments during the manufacturing process when it leaves the production line to achieve high-precision output levels.
These features make the A1301 and A1302 the preferred choice in position detection systems for linear target movement and rotating target movement. They are ideal for industrial applications with a wide temperature range (-40°C to 125°C).
Two device package types are available: LH, a 3-pin SOT23W package for surface mount; and UA, a 3-pin subminiature SIP for via mounting All packages are available in lead-free versions (suffix, T) with 100% matte tin plating on the pin frame.
