The AD5060 belongs tonanoThe DAC family is a single-channel, full-precision, 16-bit, buffered voltage output DAC® in a SOT-23 package.
The AD5060 integrates a 16-bit DAC in a SOT-23 package with a high performance output buffer with a maximum integral nonlinearity error (INL) of 1 LSB, making it ideal for high performance applications such as open-loop control or precision gain and offset. THE DEVICE FEATURES A VERSATILE 3-WIRE SERIAL INTERFACE CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT CLOCK RATES UP TO 30 UMHz and is compatible with standard spi, qspi,™™ microwire™, and dsp interface standards. The reference voltage of the AD5060 is obtained through an external REF pin, and an on-chip reference buffer simplifies the application. A power-on reset circuit is included to ensure that the DAC output powers up to 0 V/midscale (depending on the model) and maintains this level until a valid write is performed on the device. It also features a power-down feature that reduces the device's power consumption to 1 μA at 5 V in power-down mode and provides a software-selectable output load. Power-down mode is initiated via the serial interface and has very low glitches at power-up. The total unadjusted error of the device is less than 1 mV.
