The AD7528 is a monolithic, dual, 8-bit
Digital-to-analog convertersWith excellent DAC-to-DAC matching, it is available in 0.3" wide, 20-pin ultra-small DIP and 20-pin surface mount packages.
Each DAC has a separate on-chip latch for easy interfacing with a microprocessor.
Data is transferred to one of the two DAC data latches through a common 8-bit TTL/CMOS-compatible input port. The control inputs DAC A/DAC B determine which DAC the data is loaded into. The load cycle of the AD7528 is similar to that of random access memory, and the device is bus compatible with most 8-bit microprocessors, including the 6800, 8080, 8085, and Z80.
The device operates from a +5V to +15V supply and consumes only 20mW.
Both DACs offer excellent four-quadrant multiplication, and each DAC has a separate reference input and feedback resistor.
