The AD7547 integrates two 12-bit current output DACs on a single chip, internal
Level translators, data registers and control logic for easy interfacing with microprocessors. It has 12 data inputs CSA, CSB, WR to control DAC selection and loading. The data is latched into the DAC registers on the rising edge of the WR. The device is compatible with most microprocessor speeds and accepts TTL, 74HC, and 5V CMOS logic level inputs.
The digital-to-analog converter provides four-quadrant multiplication with separate reference inputs and feedback resistors. The monolithic construction ensures excellent heat dissipation and gain error tracking. Both DACs are guaranteed 12-bit monotonicity over temperature.
The AD7547 is fabricated on a linear-compatible CMOS (LC²MOS) process, enabling fast digital logic and precision linear circuitry on the same chip.
