The AD8113 is a fully buffered cross-point switching matrix that operates from a ±12 V supply in audio applications and a ±5 V supply in video applications. For both analog and digital audio, it provides a signal bandwidth of −3 dB above 60MHz and a 0.1% channel switching settling time of less than 60 ns. At 20 kHz, the device has −83 dB crosstalk performance and 90 dB isolation performance. In addition, ground/power pins are provided around all inputs and outputs, providing additional shielding for the most demanding audio routing applications. Differential gain and differential phase are better than 0.1% and 0.1°, respectively, and 0.1 dB flatness is up to 10 MHz, making it suitable for many video applications.
The AD8113 has 16 independent output buffers that can be disabled to provide parallel crossover outputs with minimal shutdown channel load. The device has a gain of +2 and is powered from a ±5 V or ±12 V supply with a power consumption of 34 mA or 31 mA, respectively.
Channel switching is achieved through a serial digital control interface (which allows multiple devices to be daisy-chained) or a parallel control interface; Each output can be updated independently without the need to reprogram the entire array.
The AD8113 is available in a 100-pin LQFP package and has an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C commercial temperatures.
