ADP1111 is a boost/
Step-down switching regulatorSeries. In boost mode, it operates from a 2 V to 12 V input voltage; In buck mode, the input voltage can reach up to 30 V. The ADP1111 can be programmed to operate in boost/buck or inverting applications with only three external components.
Fixed outputs are 3.3 V, 5 V, and 12 V, with adjustable output models available. In boost mode, the ADP1111 provides a 5 V, 100 mA output with a 3 V input; In buck mode, it provides a 5 V, 200 mA output with a 12 V input.
With a resistor, the maximum switching current can be programmed to achieve. In a variety of configurations, an open-collector gain block can be placed as a postlinear regulator, undervoltage lockout device, or error amplifier for low battery level detection.
