ADP150is an ultralow noise (9 μV),Low dropout linear regulatorIt operates from a 2.2 V to 5.5 V supply with a maximum output current of 150 mA. Driving a 150 mA load with a dropout voltage of only 105 mV improves efficiency and allows the device to operate over a wide input voltage range.
The ADP150 uses a novel circuit topology to achieve ultralow noise performance without the need for additional noise bypass capacitors, making it ideal for noise-sensitive analog and RF applications. The ADP150 provides ultralow noise performance without compromising its power supply rejection (PSRR) or line and load transient response. It provides the best combination of ultra-low noise and low quiescent power consumption to maximize battery life in portable applications. The ADP150 is designed to operate stably with 1 μF ± 30% small ceramic input and output capacitors for high performance, space-constrained applications.
It offers 14 fixed output voltage options from 1.8 V to 3.3 V. Short-circuit and thermal overload protection circuitry prevents damage under adverse conditions. Available in small 5-lead TSOT and 4-lead, 0.4 mm pitch WLCSP packages, the ADP150 is the industry's smallest solution for a wide range of portable power applications.
