The HCPL-2630 photocoupler is an optically coupled gate device that combines GaAsP LEDs with a high-gain light detector with an enable input that allows the detector to be gated and the detector chip output as an open-collector Schottky clamp transistor.
This unique design provides optimal AC and DC circuit isolation and TTL compatibility, and the AC and DC parameters of the photocouplers can be guaranteed in the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, providing unobstructed system performance.
The HCPL-2630 is suitable for high-speed logic interfaces, input and output buffering, and long-line drivers that cannot withstand environments where traditional long-line drivers cannot withstand and is recommended for use in environments with very high ground or induced noise.
