illustrate
The LMH6586 is an analog video crosspoint switch design for NTSC or PAL composite video signals with non-blocking routing standards.
The non-blocking architecture allows any of the 16 outputs to be connected to any of the 32 inputs, including any connected inputs.
Each input integrates a DC recovery clamp circuit for the biasing of the AC-coupled video signal.
The output buffers have a common 1x or 2x selectable gain setting and can drive 150Ω into a load.
The LMH6586 function facilitates the detection of active input signals and detects two types of any input channel.
Video detection can be configured to indicate when either "video present" or "video loss" is detected by a programmable register that controls the threshold level of the entire video.
In addition, synchronous detection can be configured to indicate when "sync loss" is detected across the threshold controlled by the DC voltage input.
Configuration and other parameters through my programmable switch
2
C-bus interface.
The slave device address is available through two external pins allowing up to four LMH6586 devices, each with a unique address I have in common
2
C bus.
This helps to increase the size of the intersection matrix array (e.g. 64 × 16).
The LMH6586 operates the analog section, as well as its control logic, and I supply from a normal 5V single supply

The LMH6586 is a space-saving 80-pin TQFP.
