The LMX2306/16/26 is a monolithically integrated frequency synthesizer designed to generate a very stable predivision of the low-noise signal of the local oscillator that controls the RF transceiver. They both use the national ABIC V silicon BiCMOS process 0.5μ process.
LMX2306 contains an 8/9 dual-mode pre-divider, while the LMX2316 and LMX2326 have a 32/33 dual-mode pre-divider. LMX2306/16/26 with digital phase-locked loop technology. When combined with a high-quality reference oscillator and loop filter, the feedback voltage provided LMX2306/16/26 controls the tuning voltage of the oscillator to generate a low-phase noise local oscillator signal. Serial data is transferred to LMX2306/16/26 via the three-wire interface (data, enable, clock). The supply voltage range is from 2.3V to 5.5V. LMX2306/16/26 function ultra-low current consumption; LMX2306 - 1.7 mAh for 3V, LMX2316 - 3V, 2.5 mAh and LMX2326 at 3V - 4.7 mAh.
LMX2306/16/26 synthesizers are available in a 16-pin TSSOP surface-mount plastic package.
