® The LT 1028 (-1 stable yield)/LT1128 (1 stable yield) achieves a new standard of noise performance of 0.85nV/Rt.Hz 1kHz noise and 1.0nV/Rt.Hz 10Hz noise. This ultralow noise is combined with excellent high speed specifications (gain bandwidth product of 75MHz for the LT1028, LT1128 for 20MHz), distortion-free output, and true accuracy parameters (0.1μV/°C drift, 10μV offset voltage, voltage gain of 300,000). Although the LT1028/LT1128 input stage operates close to the collector current to achieve low voltage noise of 1 mA, the input bias current is only 25nA.
The voltage noise of the LT1028/LT1128 is less than the noise of a resistor of 50 ohms. Therefore, the total system noise contribution of the LT1028/LT1128 is negligible, even in very low source impedance sensor or audio amplifier applications.
