description
LT®
The 1795 is a dual current feedback amplifier with high output current and excellent large signal characteristics. With a high slew rate, 500mA output drive current, and operating voltage up to ±15V, it delivers considerable power from 1MHz to 2MHz, and its short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown ensure that the device is not easily damaged. The LT1795 is stable at large capacitive loads, making it easy to deliver the large currents required for capacitive loads. Its shutdown feature switches the device to high-impedance, low-current operation, reducing power dissipation when the device is not operating. For applications with smaller bandwidths, an external resistor can be used to reduce the supply current.
The LT1795 is available in a very small, thermally enhanced 20-lead TSSOP package for maximum port density in line driver applications.
