The 1345 is a monolithic transceiver that uses a single 5V supply to provide differential clock and data signals to the V.35 interface. LT with an external resistor termination network and a control signal®
Together, the 1134A RS232 transceiver forms a complete low power DTE or DCE V.35 interface port from a single 5V operating supply.
The LTC1345 has three current output differential transmitters, three differential receivers and a charge pump. The transceiver can be configured for DTE or DCE operation, or shut down with two select pins. In shutdown, the supply current is reduced to 1μA.
The transceiver can operate up to 10M baud. All transmitters are short-circuit protected, and a receiver output enable pin allows the receiver output to be forced into a high impedance state. Both the transmitter output and receiver input are ±10kV ESD protected. The charge pump stabilizes one V by using three external 1μF capacitorsEE
