The MP1582 is a current mode buck converter with a type 2A, 0.18Ω internal switch to provide a highly efficient regulator with fast response. The MP1582 can be at 700KHz or 1.3MHz, allowing simple filtering and low noise. An external compensation pin gives the user flexibility to set the cycle dynamics, which allows the use of small, low ESR ceramic output capacitors. Soft-start results in small inrush current and can be programmed with external capacitors operating the MP1582 (MP1582EN) for input voltages as low as 2.5V and can generate 12V at 5V supplies up to 500mA. The MP1582 includes undervoltage lockout, current limit and thermal overload protection to prevent damage from occurring over the output. The MP1582 is available in a low-profile 8-pin MSOP package.

MP1080 (not officially released): the operating frequency can be set, when the resonant frequency is higher than the set frequency, the IC works in the resonant state; When the resonant frequency is lower than the set frequency, the IC operates in fixed frequency mode.
Note: There are two types of packages: TSSOP20 and TSSOP20F, TSSOP20 is suitable for low-power (less than 4W) occasions, and TSSOP20F is suitable for high-power applications
