• Product Introduction

The MP1582 is a current-mode step-down converter with a type 2A, 0.18Ω internal switch to provide an efficient regulator with fast response. The MP1582 can be installed at 700KHz or 1.3MHz, allowing for simple filtration and low noise. The external compensation pins give the user the flexibility to set the cyclic dynamics, which allows for the use of small, low-ESR ceramic output capacitors. Soft-start results in a small inrush current and an input voltage as low as 2.5V for the MP1582(MP1582EN) that can be programmed to operate with external capacitors and can generate 12V at up to 500mA of 5V supply. The MP1582 includes undervoltage lockout, current limiting, and thermal overload protection to prevent damage from occurring over the output. The MP1582 is available in a low-profile 8-pin MSOP package. MPS single-lamp driver chip MP1029: The output power is less than 5W, suitable for P-DVD products, and the input voltage range is 6V-17V MP1026: Output power is less than 3.5W, driving a "5-7" inch screen, and the input voltage range is 4.5V-14V MP1010B: Suitable for laptops with large size occasions, such as the voltage range is 6V-22V MP1080 (not officially released): The operating frequency can be set, when the resonant frequency is higher than the set frequency, the IC works in the resonant state; When the resonant frequency is lower than the set frequency, the IC operates in fixed frequency mode. Note: There are two packages: TSSOP20 and TSSOP20F, TSSOP20 suitable for low-power (below 4W) and TSSOP20F for high-power applications
