The excellent accuracy and temperature stability of the AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 are due to the precise matching and thermal tracking characteristics of the on-chip components. The patented design technique for temperature drift curvature correction minimizes the nonlinearity of the voltage output temperature characteristics.
The AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 series mode devices can source or sink up to 5 mA into a load and operate efficiently with only 200 mV supply voltage headroom. The series consumes a maximum quiescent current of 70 μA and the supply voltage varies from only 1.0 μA/V. These devices offer significant advantages over traditional shunt devices. With the input series resistor, valuable supply current is no longer wasted and the highest efficiency is achieved at all input power averages.
The AD1582/AD1583/AD1584/AD1585 are available in grades A, B, and C in a small SOT-23 package. All grades are specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.
