RD3924MMA8450Q 3-axis 8-bit/12-bit digital accelerationsensor
The MMA8450Q accelerometer is an intelligent, low-power, low-noise, capacitive micromachined accelerometer in a 3 x 3 x 1 mm package with 12-bit resolution. The accelerometer includes a number of flexible, user-programmable embedded functions with two configurable interrupt pins. The MMA8450Q supports a user-selectable range ± 2g/±4g/±8g and measures acceleration at 400 Hz, 200 Hz, 100 Hz, 50 Hz, 12.5 Hz, and 1.563 Hz data output rates (ODR). These output data rates correspond to sampling intervals from 2.5 ms to 640 ms, respectively.
When any of the acceleration values in the three axes exceed the programmed acceleration threshold, the device can be configured to generate an inertial wake-up interrupt signal. The threshold for acceleration and time of the interrupt generator can be programmed by the end user.
The MMA8450Q is available in a QFN plastic package and is designed for operation over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
