RD3924MMA8450Q 3-axis 8-bit/12-bit digital accelerometer
The MMA8450Q Accelerometer is an intelligent, low-power, low-noise, capacitive micromechanical accelerometer in a 3 x 3 x 1 mm package with a resolution of 12 bits. This accelerometer contains a large number of flexible, user-programmable embedded functions with two configurable interrupt pins. MMA8450Q supports user-selectable ranges of ±2G/±4G/±8G and can measure acceleration at 400 Hz, 200 Hz, 100 Hz, 50 Hz, 12.5 Hz, and 1.563 Hz Data Output Rate (ODR). These output data rates correspond to sample intervals of 2.5 ms to 640 ms, respectively.
When any of the acceleration values in the three axes exceed the programmed acceleration threshold, the device can be configured to generate an inertial wake-up interrupt signal. The threshold for the acceleration and time of the interrupt generator can be programmed by the end user.
MMA8450Q is packaged in QFN plastic and can operate well in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.
