  +5 V only     Low-power BiCMOS     Drive/receive enable for multi-node configurations     Enhanced ESD Specifications:         ± 15kV mannequin         Features ± 15kV IEC1000-4 - 2 air-gapped discharge         A half-duplex transceiver with ± 8kV IEC1000-4 - 2 contact discharge instructions SP1481E and SP1485E is a half-duplex transceiver with enhanced ESD performance up to the RS-485 and RS-422 serial protocol specification series. The electronic public service tolerated improvements, and the devices exceeded 15 mannequins and IEC1000-4 – 2 kV air-gapped discharge method. These devices are pin-to-pin compatible with Exar's SP481 and SP485 devices, as well as popular industry standards. With the original version, SP1481E and SP1485E features Exar's BiCMOS design allows for low-power operation without sacrificing performance. SP1481E and SP1485E meet the requirements of RS-485 and RS-422 protocols under loads up to 20Mbps. The SP1481E is equipped with a low-power shutdown mode
