The A1126 IC is an omnipolar, ultra-sensitive circuit with a digital outputHall-effect switches。 The device has an integrated regulator that allows up to 24 volts
of voltage operation.
The device is particularly suitable for operation over a wide temperature range (up to 150 °C). Allegro®The patented dynamic offset cancellation technique reduces the residual offset voltage typically caused by device overmolding, temperature dependence, and thermal stress, protecting the device's performance at very high temperatures.
The A1126 Hall-effect switch contains the following components on a single silicon chip: voltage regulator, Hall generator, small signal amplifier, chopper-stabilized feature, Schmitt trigger, and open-drain output with short-circuit protection. Advanced BiCMOS wafer fabrication takes advantage of low voltage requirements, component matching, extremely low input offset errors, and small component geometries.
The A1126's omnipolar operation allows operation under a magnetic field of sufficient strength to the north or south pole. When there is no magnetic field, the output stops. The patented "pole independent" feature makes the device a perfect replacement for reed switches and easier to manufacture because the A1126 does not require the manufacturer to position the magnet. These devices allow the use of simple on/off switches in industrial, consumer, and automotive applications.
The A1126 is specified for ambient operation from –40°C to 150°C. The package used provides a magnetically optimized solution for most applications. Package LH is a SOT23W miniature low profile surface mount package, while Package UA is a three-pin ultra-small SIP for via mounting. All packages are lead-free and the leadframes are 100% matte tin plating.
