Allegro's A1190, A1192, and A1193 are dual-lineUnipolar Hall effect open relationshipcolumn, this series of switches can be adjusted by the user at the end of the line to optimize the accuracy of the magnetic switchpoint in the application. These devices are manufactured using Allegro's® advanced BiCMOS wafer fabrication process using its proprietary high-frequency four-phase chopper stabilization technology. This technology provides magnetic stability relative to all operating temperatures and eliminates the inherent offset of single-Hall element devices for harsh application environments.
The A119x Series has a variety of automotive applications, including sensing seat track position, seat buckle presence, hood/trunk latching, and shift selector position.
becauseTwo-wire unipolar switchWith less wire than conventional open-collector switches, two-wire unipolar switches are particularly suitable for cost-sensitive applications. Moreover, the system designer always has diagnostic information because the output current must always be within two narrow ranges. Any current level that is not in these two ranges indicates a fault.
All products in the series are available in LH packages (SOT-23W Miniature Package) for surface mount applications. The package is lead (Pb) free with 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
