The A3995 is capable of driving two DC motors at up to 2.4 A. The A3995 drives up to 36 V and includes two independent fixed-off-time PWM current regulators that can operate in fast or slow decay mode (depending on the "mode" input). Internal synchronizationRectifier control circuitReduces power consumption during pulse-width modulation (PWM) operation.

Protection features include thermal shutdown due to hysteresis, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and crossover current protection. No special power-up sequencing is required.

The A3995 is available in a 36-pin QFN package (suffix EV) with an exposed power chip for enhanced thermal performance. With a size of 6 mm × 6 mm and a nominal overall package height of 0.90 mm, this package is Pb-free and has 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
