ACS759LCB-100B-PFF-T thermally enhanced, fully integrated, Hall-effect-based linear current with 100 μΩ current conductorsensorIC, optimized for 3.3 V operation
The Allegro® ACS759 family of current sensor ICs provides an affordable and accurate solution for AC or DC current sensing. Typical applications include motor control, load detection and management, power supply and DC-DC converter control, inverter control, and overcurrent fault detection.
The device consists of a low-offset, precision linear Hall circuit with a copper current path close to the surface of the wafer. The current flowing through this current path generates a magnetic field that can be converted by the Hall IC to a voltage output of the same proportionality. By bringing the magnetic signal as close as possible to the Hall sensor, the accuracy of the device can be greatly optimized. The accurate, proportional output voltage is provided by a chopper-stable, low-bias BiCMOS Hall IC that is factory programmed with precision.
Allegro's proprietary integrated shielding technology provides high tolerance to current conductor dV/dt signals and stray electric fields, ensuring low output voltage ripple and low bias drift in high-side, high-voltage applications.
The output of the device has a positive slope (>V) when the current rises through the primary copper conduction path (from terminal 4 to terminal 5) that serves as the current sampling pathCC/2)。 The internal resistance of this conduction path is typically 100 μΩ with low power loss.
The thickness of the copper wire allows the equipment to operate under high overcurrent conditions. The terminals of the current path are galvanically isolated from the signal leads (pins 1 through 3). This enables the ACS759 sensor IC family to be used in applications that require electrical isolation but do not use opto-isolators or other expensive isolation techniques.
The device is fully calibrated before shipping from the factory. The ACS759 series is lead-free. All leads are plated with 100% matte tin and no lead is present in the package. The large-size lead frame is made of oxygen-free copper.
