The AD5623R/AD5643R/AD5663R are allnanoThe DAC® family is a low-power, dual, 12-/14-, 16-bit buffered voltage outputDigital-to-analog converters(DAC), which operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and is designed to be monotonic.
Each device has an on-chip reference. The AD5623R-3/AD5643R-3/AD5663R-3 contain a 1.25 V, 5 ppm/°C reference with a full-scale output of 2.5 V; The AD5623R-5/AD5643R-5/AD5663R-5 contain a 2.5 V, 5 ppm/°C reference with a full-scale output of 5 V. At power-up, the on-chip reference is turned off, allowing the use of an external reference. All devices operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply. Writing to the DAC turns on the internal reference.
Each device contains a power-on reset circuit that ensures that the DAC output powers up to 0 V and remains at that level until a valid write operation is performed. It also features a shutdown feature that reduces the device's power consumption to 480 nA at 5 V in shutdown mode and provides a software-selectable output load.
In normal operation, the device features low power consumption, making it ideal for portable battery-powered devices.
THE AD5623R/AD5643R/AD5663R FEATURE A VERSATILE 3-WIRE SERIAL INTERFACE CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT CLOCK RATES UP TO 50 UMHz and are compatible with standard spi, qspi,®™ microwire™, and dsp interfaces. It includes an on-chip precision output amplifier that enables rail-to-rail output swing.
