The AD5620/AD5640/AD5660 belong tonanoThe DAC family is a low-power, single-channel, 12-/14-, 16-bit, buffered voltage output DAC® designed to ensure monotonicity.
The AD5620/AD5640/AD5660-1 have internal 1.25 V, 5 ppm/°C references and can reach 2.5 V full-scale output voltage range; The AD5620/AD5640/AD5660-2-3 contain a 2.5 V, 5 ppm/°C reference and can reach 5 V full-scale output voltage range. The reference voltage of the device can be passed through VREFOUTPin acquisition.
A power-on reset circuit is included to ensure that the DAC output powers up to 0 V (AD5620/AD5640/AD5660-1-2) or midscale (AD5620-3 and AD5660-3) and maintains this level until a valid write is performed. It also features a shutdown feature that reduces the device's power consumption to 480 nA at 5 V in shutdown mode and provides a software-selectable output load. The power consumption is 2.5 mW at 5 V and drops to 1 μW in power-down mode.
The AD5620/AD5640/AD5660 have internal on-chip precision outputsamplifier, capable of achieving rail-to-rail output swing. For remote sensing applications, the inverting input of the output amplifier is also available to the user. THE AD5620/AD5640/AD5660 FEATURE A VERSATILE 3-WIRE SERIAL INTERFACE CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT CLOCK RATES UP TO 30 UMHz and are compatible with standard spi,® qspi™, microwire™, and dsp interface standards.
