The AD5760 is a true 16-bit, unbuffered voltage output DAC that operates from bipolar supplies up to 33 V. Both reference inputs are buffered on-chip, eliminating the need for external buffering. The positive reference input range is 5V to VDD – 2.5V, and the negative reference input range is VSS + 2.5V to 0V. The maximum relative accuracy is +/-0.5 LSB, which guarantees monotonicity of operation, and the maximum differential nonlinearity (DNL) is ±0.5 LSB.
THE DEVICE FEATURES A VERSATILE 3-WIRE SERIAL INTERFACE CAPABLE OF OPERATING AT CLOCK RATES UP TO 35 UMHz and is compatible with standard spi, qspi,™ microwire™, and dsp interfaces. It includes a power-on reset circuit that ensures that the DAC outputs to 0 V after power-up and maintains a known output impedance state until a valid write is performed on the device. The output clamp feature places the output in a defined load state.
