The AD7534 is a 14-bit monolithic CMOS
Digital-to-analog convertersThin-film resistors and laser adjustment for excellent linearity.
The device is configured to accept right-aligned data in double-byte format provided by an 8-bit data bus. The DAC is accessible using standard chip selection and memory writing logic. Address lines A0 and A1 control internal register loading and transmission.
The AD7534 features a novel low leakage configuration (patent pending) that results in excellent output leakage current over the specified temperature range.
The device is fully protected from CMOS latch-up and eliminates the need for external Schottky diodes or FET-input op amps. The AD7534 is manufactured on a linear-compatible CMOS (LC²MOS) process, is compatible with most microprocessor speeds, and accepts TTL or CMOS logic level inputs.
