The ADL5562 is a high performance optimized for RF and IF
Differential amplifiers。 The amplifier provides low noise of 2.1 nV/√Hz over a wide frequency range and excellent distortion performance, making it ideal for driving 8-16-bit high-speed ADCs.
The ADL5562 is pin-set and available in three selectable gains, 6 dB, 12 dB, and 15.5 dB. In single-ended configuration, the gain is reduced to 5.6 dB, 11.1 dB, and 14.1 dB, respectively. An external series input resistor provides the flexibility to extend the amplifier's gain setting to any gain from 0 to 15.5dB.
The ADL5562 has a typical quiescent current of 80mA and consumes less than 3mA when disabled, providing excellent isolation between input and output.
The device's optimized wideband performance and low distortion performance, combined with adjustable gain, make it useful in general-purpose IF and wideband applications where low distortion, low noise, and low power consumption are critical. The optimal combination of slew rate, bandwidth, and wideband distortion performance is optimized to drive a wide range of A/D converters and is particularly suitable for driving mixers, PIN diode attenuators, SAW filters, and multi-cell discretes.
The ADL5562 is fabricated using Analog Devices' high speed SiGe process and is packaged in a 3 mm× 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP compact package with an operating temperature range of −40°C~+85°C.
