ADL5562 can provide three selectable gains of 6 dB, 12 dB, and 15.5 dB through pin settings. The gain is reduced to 5.6 dB, 11.1 dB, and 14.1 dB respectively in a single-ended configuration. An external in-series input resistor provides the flexibility to extend the amplifier's gain settings, achieving any gain from 0 to 15.5dB.
The typical quiescent current of the ADL5562 is 80mA, while the current consumption is less than 3mA when disabled, and the input and output have excellent isolation.
The device's optimized wideband and low-distortion performance, combined with its adjustable gain, allows it to be used in general-purpose IF and wideband applications where low distortion, low noise, and low power consumption characteristics are critical. The optimal combination of slew rate, bandwidth, and wideband distortion performance is optimized to drive a wide range of A/D converters and is particularly suitable for driving mixers, PIN diode attenuators, SAW filters, and multi-unit discrete devices.
ADL5562 is manufactured using Analog Devices' high-speed SiGe process and is packaged in a 3 mm×3 mm, 16-pin LFCSP compact package with an operating temperature range of −40°C~+85°C.
