The AD8030 is a dual-core, rail-to-rail input and output high-speed amplifier with a quiescent current of only 1.3 mA per amplifier. Despite its low power consumption, the amplifier delivers excellent performance with a small signal bandwidth of 125 MHz and a slew rate of 60 V/μs. The use of Analog Devices' XFCB process enables the device to achieve high speed, high performance, and low power consumption.
This amplifier operates from a single supply with rail-to-rail inputs and outputs, with a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 12V. The input voltage range can exceed 200 mV per rail without inverting. The output dynamic range can be extended to up to 40 mV per rail.
The AD8030 provides excellent signal quality with very low power consumption. At G = +1, the spurious dynamic range (SFDR) is -72dBc (1MHz) and the 0.1% settling time is only 80 ns. The low distortion and fast settling characteristics make this amplifier suitable for use as a driver for single-supply analog-to-digital converters.
The flexible features allow users to use this amplifier over a wide voltage range while consuming less than 6.5 mW. Whether used in battery-powered systems with high bandwidth requirements or in high-speed systems with high device density and low power consumption, these features help extend system uptime.
The AD8030 is the only low-power, rail-to-rail input and output high-speed amplifier available in SOT23 and SC70 miniature packages rated for an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
