The AD9244 is a single-chip, 14-bit, 65 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single 5 V supply and includes an on-chip high-performance sample-and-hold amplifier and voltage reference. It features a multi-stage differential pipeline architecture with built-in output error correction logic that provides 14-bit accuracy at 65 MSPS data rates and ensures no code loss over the entire operating temperature range.
The AD9244 features an on-chip programmable reference source. An external reference voltage can also be selected to meet the application's DC accuracy and temperature drift requirements.
A differential clock input is used to control all internal conversion cycles. The digital output data format is standard binary or binary complement. The over-range (OTR) signal indicates an overflow condition, which can be determined by the highest significant bit whether it is an overflow or an overflow.
The AD9244 is manufactured using an advanced CMOS process and is available in a 48-pin surface-mount plastic package (48-LQFP) with a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range.
