The AD9244 is a monolithic, 14-bit, 65-bitMSPS analog-to-digital converter(ADC) operating from a single 5 V supply with an on-chip high-performance track-and-hold amplifier and reference. It features a multistage differential pipelined architecture with built-in output error correction logic, 14-bit accuracy at 65 MSPS data rates, and guaranteed no missing codes over the entire operating temperature range.
The AD9244 has an on-chip programmable reference. An external reference voltage can also be selected to meet the dc accuracy and temperature drift requirements of the application.
A differential clock input is used to control all internal conversion cycles. The digital output data format is standard binary or twos complement. Overrange (OTR) signals indicate overflow conditions, and the most significant bit can be used to determine whether it is underflow or overflow.
The AD9244 is manufactured using an advanced CMOS process and is available in a 48-lead surface-mount plastic package (48-LQFP) and is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
