ADG5204 is a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) analog multiplexer with four built-in single channels.
The ultra-low capacitance and charge injection characteristics of these switches make them an ideal solution for data acquisition and sample holding applications that require low burrs and fast settling times. The fast switching speed and high signal bandwidth make ADG5204 suitable for video signal switching applications.
ADG5204 is designed with a channel process and has an anti-latch function. The dielectric channel separates the P-channel from the N-channel transistor to ensure that there is no latching even under severe overvoltage conditions. ADG5204 switches one of the four inputs to the common output D based on the address determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1, and EN. When the EN pin is logic 0, the device will be disabled. When switched on, the switches conduct the same in both directions, and the input signal range extends to the supply voltage range. Under disconnection conditions, a signal level equal to the supply voltage is blocked. All switches are open and close later.
