ADM7160It is an ultra-low noise,
Low dropout linear regulatoroperates from a 2.2 V to 5.5 V supply with a maximum output current of 200 mA. The dropout voltage of only 150 mV at 200 mA load improves efficiency and allows the device to operate over a wide input voltage range.
The ADM7160 uses a novel circuit topology to achieve ultralow noise performance without the need for bypass capacitors, making it ideal for noise-sensitive analog and RF applications. The ADM7160 provides ultralow noise performance without compromising its power supply rejection (PSRR) or line and load transient response.
Current limiting and thermal overload protection circuitry prevent damage under adverse conditions. The EN input pin of the ADM7160 also includes a pull-down resistor.
The ADM7160 is designed to operate stably with small 1 μF, ±30% ceramic input and output capacitors for high performance, space-constrained applications.
The ADM7160 is available in 16 fixed output voltage options ranging from 1.1 V to 3.3 V in compact 5-lead TSOT and 6-lead LFCSP packages. The LFCSP not only provides an ultra-compact solution with excellent thermal performance, meeting the needs of applications up to 200 mA output current in a small and thin board space.
