ADP7182Is a CMOS, low dropout (LDO)
Linear regulatoroperates from a -2.7 V to -28 V supply with a maximum output current of −200 mA. This high input voltage LDO is suitable for regulating high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits supplying -27 V to -1.22 V. The device uses an advanced, proprietary architecture that provides high power supply rejection, low noise, and requires only a small 2.2 μF ceramic output capacitor for excellent line and load transient response.
The ADP7182 is available in fixed output voltage options and adjustable output variants that regulate the output voltage from -1.22 V to −V with an external feedback dividerIN+ VDO。
The ADP7182 regulator outputs a noise voltage of 18 μV rms and is independent of the output voltage. Enable logic can interface with positive and negative logic levels for maximum flexibility.
The ADP7182 is available in an 8-lead LFCSP package for low-profile, small footprint applications. The 5-pin TSOT package is scheduled for release by the end of 2013.
