illustrate
The LM95245 is an 11-bit, 2-wire System Management Bus (SMBus) interface and TruTherm technology that monitors the temperature of a remote diode as well as its own digital temperature sensor. The LM95245 can monitor the temperature of external devices such as microprocessors very accurately. TruTherm technology allows the LM95245 to accurately monitor thermal diodes found in the process of 90nm and smaller geometries. The LM95245 is an Intel processor specifically for the 45nm process. The LM95245 reports temperature in two different formats for the 127.875°C/-128°C temperature range and the 0°C/255°C range. The LM95245^T_CRIT and ^OS outputs are valid when the East Window incident channel exceeds its programmed limit and can be used to shut down the system, turn on the system fan, or as an interrupt function for the microcontroller. ^T_CRIT^The current state of the operating system pins can read the status registers through the SMBus interface. For all limitations, there is a common programmable hysteresis register.
The LM95245 remote temperature channels all have programmable digital filters. The LM95245 is an offset register aimed at a typical Intel ® processor in 45nm, 65nm or 90nm processes and has maximum flexibility and best accuracy.
The LM95245 has three levels of address pins connected to up to 3^OS outputs that share the same SMBus master. The LM95245 has a programmable slew rate register and standby mode to save power. In standby mode, a conversion can be triggered through a written one-time register.
