This device is a versatile, programmable power management unit (PMU) optimized for block power solutions. The device integrates two high-efficiency 600 mA step-down DC/DC converters with configurable dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) of 800 mA load through I 2 C, two low-noise analog LDOs, three digital load currents up to 300 mA, two low-input, low-output (LILO) regulators and one LDO I 2 A C-compatible serial interface allows access to a host controller's internal control registers. The device also features programmable power upsequencing. LDO regulators offer high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and low noise, making them ideal for both analog and digital loads.
The device can be configured as a module Sub_PMU, (e.g., camera/multimedia module), or as a stand-alone PMU power processor itself.
