MFRC50001T/0FE,112Card reader chip

The MFRC500 is part of the latest family of highly integrated reader ICs for contactless communication at 13.56 MHz. This series of reader ICs provides:

  • Excellent modulation and demodulation performance for passive contactless communication
  • Various methods and protocols are available
  • The pins are compatible with the CLRC632, MFRC530, MFRC531, and SLRC400

All levels of ISO/IEC 14443 A are supported

The receiver module provides a robust and efficient demodulation/decoding circuit scheme that is compatible with transponder signals (see Section 9.10 on page 30). The digital module manages all ISO/IEC 14443 A standard framing and error detection (parity and CRC). In addition, it supports the fast Crypto1 security algorithm for authenticating MIFARE products (see section 9.12 on page 35).

The internal transmitter module (section 9.9 on page 27) directly drives antennas designed for close-range operation up to 100 mm away without any additional active circuitry.

The parallel interface allows direct connection to any 8-bit microprocessor, ensuring reader/terminal design flexibility.
