Linear output Hall effectNew applications for devices, such as displacement, angular position, and current measurement, require high accuracy and small package size. The Allegro® A1324, A1325, and A1326 linear Hall-effect sensor ICs are designed to meet both requirements. The device is temperature stable and is also available in miniature surface mount packages (SOT23W) and ultra-miniature through-hole single in-line packages.
These are proportionalHall-effect sensorsThe IC provides a voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic field. They provide 50% of the quiescent supply voltage output. The A1324/25/26 have factory-configured sensitivities of 5.0 mV/G, 3.125 mV/G, and 2.5 mV/G, respectively.
With their features, these linear units are ideal for automotive and industrial applications that require high accuracy and ensure proper operation in temperatures ranging from –40°C to 150°C.
Each BiCMOS monolithic circuit incorporates Hall element temperature compensation circuitry that reduces the inherent sensitivity drift of the Hall element, a small-signal high-gain amplifier, a clamped low-impedance output stage, and a proprietary dynamic offset cancellation technique.
These devices are available in 3-pin ultra-mini SIP packages (UA) and 3-pin surface-mount SOT-23 type packages (LH). Both packages are Pb-free and feature 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
