They are single-channel, 16-/12-bit serial-input, voltage-output digital-to-analog converters (DACs) with single (4.75 V to 30 V) or dual supplies (−16.5 V to 0 V).

These devices guarantee monotonicity with an integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±2 LSB (maximum) over a selected range, noise of 35 nV/√Hz, and a settling time of 7.5 μs.

AD5721 The serial interface enables operation at clock rates up to 50 MHz and is compatible with DSP and microcontroller interface standards. With double buffering, the DAC output can be updated asynchronously. The input encoding is user-selectable twos complement or offset binary. The asynchronous reset function resets all registers to their default state. The output range is selected by the user by controlling the RA [2:0] bit in the register.
These devices are available in a 16-pin TSSOP package and are guaranteed over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.
