The on-resistance curve is very flat over the entire analog input range, ensuring excellent linearity and low distortion performance when switching audio signals.
ADG5404 uses a channel process to effectively prevent latching. The dielectric channel separates the P-channel from the N-channel transistor to ensure that there is no latching even under severe overvoltage conditions.
ADG5404 switches one of the four inputs to the common output D based on the address determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1, and EN. When the EN pin is logic 0, the device will be disabled. When switched on, the switches conduct the same in both directions, and the input signal range extends to the supply voltage range. Under disconnection conditions, a signal level equal to the supply voltage is blocked. All switches are open and close later.
