The ADG5404 is a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) analog multiplexer containing four single channels.
The on-resistance curve is very flat over the entire analog input range, ensuring excellent linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals.
The ADG5404 uses a channel process to effectively prevent latch-up. The dielectric channel separates the P-channel from the N-channel transistor, ensuring that latch-up does not occur even under severe overvoltage conditions.
The ADG5404 switches one of the four inputs to a common output D based on the addresses determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1, and EN. When the EN pin is logic 0, the device is disabled. When turned on, the switches conduct the same in both directions, and the input signal range extends to the supply voltage range. Under the disconnection condition, the signal level equal to the supply voltage is blocked. All switches are open-before-close type.
