ADG5408/
ADG5409All are single-chip CMOS analog multiplexers, with 8 built-in single channels and 4 differential channels, respectively. The ADG5408 switches one of the eight inputs to a common output based on the addresses determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1, and A2. The ADG5409 switches one of the four differential inputs to a common differential output based on the addresses determined by the 2-bit binary address lines A0 and A1.
Both devices provide an EN input to enable or disable the device. When EN is disabled, all channels are turned off. The on-resistance curve is very flat over the entire analog input range, ensuring good linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. The high switching speed also makes these devices suitable for video signal switching applications.
When turned on, the switches conduct the same in both directions, and the input signal range extends to the supply voltage range. Under the disconnection condition, the signal level equal to the supply voltage is blocked.
The ADG5408/ADG5409 do not have VL pins and the logic supply is generated internally by an on-chip voltage generator.
