ADIS16228
iSensor® is a complete vibration sensing system that combines three-axis acceleration sensing with advanced time and frequency domain signal processing. Time-domain signal processing includes a programmable decimation filter and optional window functions. Frequency domain processing includes 512-point, real-value FFT, and FFT averaging functions for each axis, the latter of which reduces the variation in the noise floor and thus improves resolution. With a 14-record FFT storage system, users can track changes over time and capture FFTs with multiple decimation filter settings.
The 20.48 kSPS sample rate and 5 kHz flat band provide a frequency response suitable for many mechanical health detection applications. The aluminum core enables excellent mechanical coupling to MEMS accelerometers. In all operations, the internal clock drives the data sampling and signal processing system, eliminating the need for an external clock source. Data capture has three modes and offers multiple options to meet the needs of different applications. In addition, in real-time mode, data streams on one axis can be accessed directly. The SPI and data buffer structure provides easy access to the output data. The ADIS16228 also provides a digital temperature sensor and digital power supply measurement.
The ADIS16228 is available in 15 mm × 24 mm × 15 mm module packages and is available in flanges, mechanical screw holes (M2 or 2-56), and flexibilityconnector, supports simple and easy user interface and installation. The operating temperature range is −40°C to +125°C.
