The ADP130 is a low quiescent current,
Low dropout linear regulator。 It operates in dual-supply mode with input voltages as low as 1.2 V and output currents up to 350 mA. The low dropout of only 17 mV at 100 mA helps improve efficiency and allow the device to operate over a wider input voltage range.
Dual-supply solutions typically improve conversion efficiency compared to single-supply solutions because they can power the device from a higher VBIAS supply and lower VIN supply current to the load, resulting in lower power consumption. The ADP130 is optimized for stable operation with only a small 1 μF ceramic capacitor, providing good transient performance in a very small board area.
ADP13031 fixed output voltage options available:
- 0.80 V~2.00 V in 50 mV steps
- 1.875 V, 2.25 V, 2.50 V, 2.775 V, 2.80 V, and 3.0 V
The ADP130 has an internal soft-start time of 200 μs (typical). Short-circuit protection and overtemperature protection circuitry prevent damage under adverse conditions. The ADP130 is available in a tiny 5-lead TSOT package to meet the needs of a variety of portable power applications.
