Net income was US$16,728 million, up 8% from US$15,457 million in the year-ago quarter. The company's intelligent cloud business revenue was $19.05 billion in the fiscal third quarter, and Azure and other cloud services revenue increased 46% in the quarter. Productivity and Business Process segment revenue was $15.79 billion, up approximately 17%. More Personal Computing revenue was $14.52 billion, up 11%.
Oracle released its fiscal third quarter 2022 earnings. Total revenue for the quarter was $10,513 million, up 4% from $10,085 million in the same period last year. Net income was US$2,319 million, down 54% from US$5,021 million in the same period last year; Excluding one-time items, Oracle's adjusted net income was $3,102 million, down 11% from $3,485 million in the year-ago quarter.
German enterprise software giant SAP (SAP) said in its earnings report that revenue increased by 11% in the first quarter of 2022, boosted by the cloud business, exceeding market expectations, but lost 300 million euros in revenue due to its exit from Russia. The company's total revenue for the quarter increased to 7.08 billion euros (about $7.54 billion) from 6.35 billion euros in the same period last year. Among them, cloud computing and software revenue increased by 12% to 6.06 billion euros.
Salesforce, the world's largest CRM software service provider, reported its first fiscal quarter. Fiscal first quarter revenue was $7,411 million, up 24% from $5,963 million in the year-ago quarter, and up 26% year-over-year excluding the impact of currency movements. Net income was $28 million, down 94% from $469 million in the year-ago quarter.
Adobe announces fiscal 2022 first quarter earnings. HP released its fiscal 2022 second quarter earnings report ended April 30. Second-quarter net revenue of $16.5 billion, up 3.9% from $15.9 billion in the year-ago quarter. Net income was $1.0 billion, down 19% from $1.2 billion in the year-ago quarter. By business segment, HP Personal Systems Group revenue for the fiscal second quarter was $11.532 billion, up 9% from $10.555 billion in the year-ago quarter. Among them, desktop shipments increased by 11% year-on-year, notebook shipments decreased by 23% year-on-year, and total shipments decreased by 17% year-on-year. Dell Technologies announced its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ended April 29, 2022. TD SYNNEX ANNOUNCED RESULTS FOR THE FIRST QUARTER OF FISCAL 2022 ENDED FEBRUARY 28. Quarterly revenue was $15.47 billion, compared to $4,939 million in the year-ago quarter. Quarterly net income was $132 million, compared to $87.82 million in the year-ago quarter.
IBM reported a 9% increase in revenue in the first quarter of 2022 due to continued growth in hybrid cloud platforms. Revenue rose to $14.2 billion in the fiscal quarter from $13.19 billion in the year-ago quarter, and hybrid cloud revenue increased 14% to $5.0 billion in the first quarter. Quarterly net income was $733 million, compared to $955 million in the year-ago quarter. By segment, software revenue (hybrid cloud platforms and solutions, transaction processing platforms) was $5.8 billion, up 12.3%. Consulting (Business Transformation, Technology Consulting and Application Management) revenue of $4.8 billion increased 13.3%.
