The AD5450/AD5451/AD5452/AD54531 are CMOS, 8/10/12, and 14-bit, current outputs, respectivelyDigital-to-analog converters。 These devices operate from 2.5 V to 5.5 V supplies and are suitable for a variety of applications, including battery-powered applications.
Fabricated using a CMOS submicron process, these DACs offer excellent four-quadrant multiplication with multiplication bandwidths up to 12 MHz.
THESE DCs feature a double-buffered, three-wire serial interface and are compatible with spi®, qspi,™ microwire™, and most dsp interface standards.
At power-up, the internal shift registers and latches are filled with zeros and the DAC output is at zero scale.
The full-scale output current is determined by the applied external reference input voltage (VREFDecide. Although operating from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, these devices can handle ± 10 V reference input. When used with an external current-to-voltage precision amplifier, the integrated feedback resistor (RFBTemperature tracking and full-scale voltage outputs are available.
The AD5450/AD5451/AD5452/AD5453 DACs are available in a small 8-lead TSOT package, and the AD5452/AD5453 are also available in MSOP packages. The AD5453 is also available in an 8-lead LFSCP package.
The EVAL-AD5443SDZ/EVAL-AD5446SDZ/EVAL-AD5453SDZ evaluation boards are available to evaluate DAC performance. For more information, see the UG-327 Evaluation Board User Guide.
