AD7171BCPZ-500RL7
The AD7171 is an extremely low-power, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a precision 16-bit sigma-delta ADC and an on-chip oscillator. The device consumes only 110 μA, making it ideal for portable or battery-powered products that require very low power consumption. It also features a power-saving mode in which the device consumes only 5 μA, extending the product's battery life.
For ease of use, all features of the AD7171 are controlled by dedicated pins. Each time a data read operation occurs, 8 status bits are appended to the 16-bit conversion result. These status bits contain a code sequence that can be used to confirm the validity of serial transmissions.
The AD7171 has an output data rate of 125 Hz and a settling time of 24 ms. It has a differential input with a gain of 1. This feature is useful in applications where the user needs an external amplifier to meet system-specific filtering or gain requirements.
The AD7171 operates from a 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply and is available in a 10-pin LFCSP package.
