AD7609BSTZ 8-channel differential DAS with 18-bit, bipolar, simultaneous sampling ADC
The TAD7609 is an 18-bit, 8-channel true differential synchronous sampling analog-to-digital data acquisition system (DAS) with analog input clamp protection, second-order antialiasing filter, track-and-hold amplifier, 18-bit charge redistribution successive approximation ADC, flexible digital filter, 2.5V reference, reference buffer, and high-speed serial and parallel interfaces.
Operating from a single 5V supply, the AD7609 can handle ± 10 V and ±5 V true bipolar input signals, while sampling all channels at throughput rates up to 200 kSPS. The input clamp protection circuit can withstand voltages up to ±16.5V. The analog input impedance of the AD7609 is 1 MΩ regardless of the sampling frequency operation. It operates from a single supply, has on-chip filtering, and high input impedance, eliminating the need to drive op amps and external bipolar supplies. The AD7609 antialiasing filter has a 3 dB cutoff frequency of 30 kHz; It has 40 dB antialiasing rejection at a sample rate of 200 ksps. The flexible digital filter is pin-driven to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and reduce the bandwidth by 3 dB.
