illustrate
The ADC12020 is a monolithic CMOS analog-to-digital converter capable of converting a minimum analog input signal at 20 words per second (MSPS) to 12 bits.
The converter uses a differential, pipelined architecture with digital error correction and on-chip sample-and-hold circuitry to minimize dead volume and power dissipation while providing excellent power performance.
Operating from a single 5V supply, this device consumes only
185 mW
At 20 MSPS, including reference current.
Downward function power consumption reduced to 40 MW.
The differential input provides the swing of the full-scale input, equal to
2V
The possibility of a single-ended input of the real estate.
Taking full advantage of differential inputs is recommended for optimal performance.
For ease of use, the buffered, high-impedance, single-ended reference input on the conversion chip is a differential reference for processing the circuit.
The output data format is 12-bit offset binary.
This device is available in a 32-pin LQFP package and will be in the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
