The ADG3233 is oneBypass switch, manufactured on a submicron process with supply voltages as low as 1.65 V. The guaranteed operating voltage range is 1.65 V to 3.6 V. It operates with two supply voltages and can perform bidirectional level translation, i.e. low-to-high-voltage and high-to-low. The signal path is unidirectional, and data can only flow from A to Y.
These devices can be used in applications that require bypass functionality and are ideal for bypass devices in JTAG chains or daisy-chain loops. A switch can be used with one device or multiple devices, making it easy to bypass one or more devices in the chain. This is especially useful when testing devices in JTAG chain or daisy-chain applications, where the user does not have to change the settings of a specific device, saving time and overhead.
This bypass switch is available in two minimum packages with the required number of pins. The 8-pin SOT23 package requires only 8.26 mm2 of board space, while the MicroSOIC package occupies approximately 15 mm
